Being part of the carnival royal party is a tradition that Newport has had for many years and will continue to do so, however being part of our royal party is more than just wearing a crown. If you are selected to be in our royal party you will lead the carnival procession in our special royal float, designed only for our royal party. You will also be crowned live on stage in front of everyone!
As part of our royal party you will also be asked to attend other events in Newport, such as the Newport Show, The Christmas lights switch on, plus other fab events in Newport in your royal cloak and crown.
This year we are looking for the following: King (Aged 10+), Queen (Aged 10+), Prince (Aged 4-9) and Princess (Aged 4-9).
